How to cancel Spotify Premium
Spotify Premium can't be cancelled inside the mobile app. You cancel on the Spotify website, and your account switches to the free plan at the end of the billing period.

Open your account page in a browser
Go to spotify.com/account and log in. The mobile app does not offer a cancel button.

Go to 'Manage your plan'
Under 'Your plan', click 'Manage your plan' or 'Change plan'.

Select 'Cancel Premium'
Scroll to the bottom and choose 'Cancel Premium'. If you pay through a partner (phone carrier, App Store), Spotify will tell you to cancel with that partner.

Confirm cancellation
Click 'Continue to cancel' and confirm. You keep Premium until the next billing date, then move to Spotify Free.
Good to know
- Your playlists and saved music stay on your account after cancelling.
- Family/Duo plan managers cancel for everyone on the plan.
- Billed via Apple? Cancel in iPhone Settings → Subscriptions.
